A prospective expatriate employee must provide the employer with specific documentation to be included in the application. Standard Term Limit
Work Permit holders can work and reside in the Cayman Islands for up to nine years. Once a person reaches the term limit, they must either apply for permanent residency or leave the Cayman Islands for a minimum of a year. You can only apply for permanent residence during your 8th year on the Island.
